Summary
A traditional, community based independent Opticians based in Romford, East London, are looking for a full time Dispensing Optician Manager to lead the team.
Dispensing Optician Manager- Role
- 100% independently owned
- Established over 50 years ago
- 2 testing rooms
- Exceptional reputation in the area
- New Directors with ambitious plans
- 30 minute testing times
- Varied frame range to suit all budgets including designer brands - Ray Ban, Dior, Range Rover
- Freedom to work with different lens suppliers - Seiko, Zeiss
- Growing myopia management patient base
- Optinet Flex PMS
- Lead a team of 4-5 people
- Create a professional yet enjoyable working environment
- Training and developing the team
- Dealing with complex patient queries
- Prioritise workloads and rota management
- Ensure the day to day operations runs smoothly
- Working 5 days a week including a Sat
- Typical working hours from 9am to 5pm
- Salary between £32,000 to £38,000
Dispensing Optician Manager - Requirements
- Fully qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic about high quality service
- Balance between clinical and commercial skills
- Interest in fashion and brands
- Team player
