Job Summary

The Primary Role of the Job will involve the Provision of Field Service on Digital Colour Laser Printing equipment located at our customers offices and shops.

When working in our office/workshop on non service days you will have duties such as providing technical support via phone and email, along with using our database for client and machine Information purposes. You will also have workshop days with different activities relevant to the general needs of the business (Highlighted in Duties).

Duties

Providing field Service and consumable replacement to our fleet of
Printers/Multifunction Printers.
Implementation of New Hardware Systems.
Gaining a thorough understanding of Digital Colour.
Gaining a Thorough understanding of IT Networking and Email server setup Involving Printing/Scanning Hardware.
Data Entry onto our Database.
Assist with Consumable Refurbishment, Manufacture and Packaging.
Refurbish and Recycling Used Hardware .
Keeping all work places Clean and Tidy.
Keeping Assigned Work Vehicle Clean and Tidy.

Qualifications

5 GCSEs Grade C/5 or above. Maths, English, Science, DT, IT Preferred.
Preferred not compulsory, One or Two A levels Grade C or above, preferably- IT, DT, Maths, Sciences.
Preferred not Compulsory, T level in Engineering.
Full Clean UK Driving License (compulsory).
Good IT Knowledge and Liking for IT.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.

A field service engineer is a very much 'hands on' role and dexterity is essential, along with rational thought and logic used for problem solving.

I would encourage anybody who thinks they would be suitable for the role to apply, regardless of your Qualifications.

Training Will be provided in all Areas either In-house or by third party Hardware manufactures, usually product specific.
