Day Shift - Mon-Fri - 39hrs per week
LEEDS
Our client based in Leeds is looking for an experienced Punch Press Operator for a temp to PERMANENT position. The Punching Centre Operator will work in the Sheet Metal department.
Day to day tasks for the successful Punch Press Operator will be:
• To supply work to press brakes in low volume cell
• Ability to download programmes
• Correct ordering of steel requirements for programmes
• Tool changes when required
• Identifying parts to drawing’s
Skills & Experience
• Previous punch press operator / punching centre operator or sheet metal experience
• Team Player
• Work on own initiative
• Good communication skills
• Quality conscious
Training will be provided for the right applicant to develop the skills & knowledge required for the position.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm Monday to Thursday & 6am – 11.40am Fri = 39 hours per week
Salary & Benefits:
£24,943 per annum (£12.30 per hour) to £26,744 pa (£13.19 p/hr) Dependant on Experience
Company Pension 7% paid by employer & 1% paid by Employee
