Summary
We are looking for a Night Nurse to join our team and provide a person centred, needs led service to adults with a learning and/or physical disability at Rose Lodge.
We use a person-centred approach focusing on supporting people to make their own choices, follow their own interests and gain independence. We empower people to choose how they want to live their life.
As a Night Nurse you will be required to:
o Work in line with The Health & Social Care Act 2014, and within the laws of Health and Safety.
o Work within Contracts specifications as laid down by Commissioners from Local Authorities and Continuing Health.
o Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of the young people and their families.
o Undertake duties which will involve direct nursing/non-nursing and housekeeping.
o Ensure that the nursing care and practices in the Home reflect the care needed for young people with complex health needs.
ABOUT THE SERVICE
Rose Lodge is a residential home set in the heart of a vibrant community which provides residential support and accommodation for up to 6 adults with learning disabilities.
Staff at Rose Lodge have shown proven effectiveness in contributing to the quality of life of the residents, whilst maintaining a comfortable and friendly environment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
o RSCN/RN Child
o RGN/EN
o RNLD
o Experience (preferable) working with young people for a minimum of 12 months.
