Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Stores person to join us at Mitie working with Mitie clients.
This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary as our stores person you will oversee the parts department, and will be responsible for maximising department efficiencies, minimising equipment down time, and achieving the departmental business plan. You will also be responsible for effectively controlling and maintaining stock levels, critical spares, regular updates on our CMMS system and minimising the risk of financial loss to the company. You will be required to liaise with the engineering manager to lead and develop the engineering team in order to improve the ordering process via our CMMS system, encourage continuous improvement.
It is essential that you can demonstrate a successful track record in a similar role, be computer literature, understand and able to use Microsoft word, Outlook and Excel.
You must be a strong character and able to demonstrate you possess the skills of a strong leader, people management skills are a must, strong communication both verbal and written, organisational skills and be able to work alone and as part of a team.
