Summary
Position: CNC Machinist - Miller
Location: Tewkesbury
Position: contract till mid Sept 2025
Salary: very competitive
Working hours: Monday to Friday 2 rotating shifts AM and PM: 37.5 hours per week
Overtimes: paid at premium rate
We are looking for a 3 axis CNC Miller to work for engineering manufacturing business based in Tewkesbury. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for machining precision parts for aerospace sector.
Responsibilities of CNC setter:
• Following technical drawing setting and operating CNC milling machine with Mazatrol controls
• Machining precision parts to tight tolerances
• CNC Machinist must be able to set and operate a machine under no supervision
• Measuring, adjusting, and maintaining tight tolerances
Requirements of CNC setter
• Previous experience working with Milling CNC machines with Mazak controls
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and accurately measure components.
• Experience working to tight tolerances and using measurement tools.
• A proactive and positive attitude, with the willingness to receive further training.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
