We have an exciting opportunity at our warm and welcoming nursery in Horsham. We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioner to become part of our vibrant team. This flexible role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, allowing you to choose a schedule that works for you (1-4 days per week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
  • Keep parents informed by providing regular updates on their child's progress
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and welfare of all children
  • Encourage children's development through engaging and creative activities
  • Maintain detailed records of children's developmental milestones
  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues to create a positive environment

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (CACHE Level 3, NNEB) (essential)
  • NVQ Level 2 candidates will also be considered, especially with experience in baby or toddler care
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursery or childcare setting (essential)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Experience with online learning journals (advantageous, but not essential)

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00 (1-hour lunch break)
  • Part-time options available (1-4 days per week)
