A Vacancy at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.
The Emergency Department at Queens Hospital Burton is looking to expand it's team of Health care support workers.
We are a busy department, covering a diverse population.
we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated staff to join us. You will be supported by our education team and senior nurses in delivering care to patients. We are a dual A&E caring for both adults and children.
You must be flexible, covering a 24 hour service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
Successful candidate will work with our ED, under the supervision of our registered nursing team.
Through our education team you will gain skills such as venepuncture, cannulation, ECG's, simple dressings, plastering and much more.

average of 2077 per week.
An average of 1115 patients are seen in A&Es across our network every day – 3rd largest in
the country.
Our hospitals admit an average of 195 emergency patients daily.
Last year we undertook almost 33,700 planned surgical operations in our 57 operating
theatres.
We are one of only 7 Trusts nationally with more than 50 operating theatres.
We carry out more than 140 elective procedures each working day.
