Summary

Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Are you looking for a new role in Education?
Do you have previous experience working in Primary schools?

Academic Appointments are working with a primary school in Sheffield who are currently searching for full-time teaching assistant to work as part of a dedicated and resourceful KS1 team. The position will be supporting throughout KS1 classes.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN, promoting their engagement and progress in class activities.
• Monitor the pupils’ response to the learning activities and, where appropriate, modify or adapt the activities as agreed with the class teacher to achieve the intended learning outcomes.
• Assist in the recording of lessons and assessment as required by the class teacher.

Do you Have:

• Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant with children with additional needs, ideally within SEN/Mainstream School settings
• Early Years Practitioner/ Level 3 Teaching assistant Qualification
• Good organisational and excellent communication skills

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
