Summary
Acorns Childrens Hospice are now looking for a Stock and Inventory Manager to manage stocks and supplies in each of our three hospices.
About the Role
At Acorns Children’s Hospice we offer specialist palliative care and support for children and their families across the West Midlands. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, in the hospice, community and at home. Our aim at Acorns is to help families feel equipped to cope at every stage of their child’s life with dedicated teams offering psychological, emotional and practical support.
As a Stock and Inventory Manager, you will:
Manage and maintain a stock inventory system
Purchase supplies
Receive, check and put away incoming goods, rotating stock to prevent them expiring
Ensure hazardous substances are stored in line with COSHH regulations
About You
Previous experience in stores, warehouse or stock control role
Ability to use inventory management systems and purchase order systems
Understanding of health and safety and COSHH regulations
Ability to travel to all Acorns hospices
What We Offer
£30,000 to £36,000 per annum
37 hours per week
Based in nearest Acorns hospice (Walsall, Worcester or Birmingham) plus travel to all hospices
