Working hours: 8am-4.30pm or 8.30am-5pm (Monday-Friday)
Salary- £26,000 (rising to £28,000 after 6-month probation

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer. They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable team player to join their IT Team. This is a great opportunity to join a well-reputed organisation where you will be given the chance to get involved with a variety of different technologies across the infrastructure.
Split between service desk and project work, the successful candidate will be based across a few sites within Barrow so having a driving licence and a car are essential. The Desktop Support Engineer will also need at least a year's experience in a similar support position and be proficient in Active Directory & MS365.

You should have the following qualities:
• Previous experience working within IT (IT Technician, Desktop Support)
• Microsoft based operating systems
• Keen and motivated to learn
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Active Directory
• Microsoft 365
• Must have a driving licence and access to a car every day
• Highly motivated
• Possess a “can-do” attitude
• A professional commitment to carrying out work to a high quality and a passion for learning new skills
• Confident to make sound judgements based on their proven skills and experience and has the ability to act on their own initiative.
