Management Accountant
This is an exciting role for a company that is rapidly growing and are looking to add someone to the team that can assist their growth strategies with financial knowledge, business acumen, support and advice.
Permanent Position
£35k to £45k - depending on level of experience
Based in Cannock
Days
Preparing and presenting monthly Management Accounts as well as providing Business Intelligence to support decisions and growth strategies
Experience Required for a Management Accountant
- Previous experience within manufacturing or automotive would be an advantage
- Conduct variance analysis on budgets and forecasts
- Manage cash flow
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities and risks
- Deliver competitive reports
- Work with different departments to help drive down costs
- Supporting new product lines, ensure that robust financial processes are in place to support business growth
Duties required for a Management Accountant
Looking for a highly skilled Management Accountant with Business Analysis skills - analysing data and implementing processes and systems as well as creating and providing commentary on reports
- A real involvement in the business, growth and development
- Monitor KPI's and advise on areas of under performance
- Provide in depth profitability analysis by department, product line or customer base to identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee reconciliation processes and ensure all financial records are maintained accurately
- Support the budgeting process
- Accountancy
- Oversee financial controls and compliance with regulations and internal policies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience required for the Management Accountant
- Professional accounting qualification - ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Proficient in business intelligence tools - Power BI, Tableu or similar
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, accounting software (Xero, Sage or SAP)
- Exceptional analytic skills
- Management Accountancy experience ideally gained in manufacturing or automotive / engineering companies
