Summary
Oakley Coachbuilders since 1947 are the UK’s leading manufacturers of luxury horseboxes and recreational vehicles. We are currently looking for a motivated and committed person to join our team of skilled interior fitters. Each vehicle has a handcrafted bespoke interior including luxury slide out living areas, modern kitchens and bathrooms. The role requires you to work as part of a team using a wide variety of materials and high quality finishes.
Ideally, you will have experience in any of the following areas;
- Joiner/ interior fitter or experience in fitting kitchens, bathrooms and living area furniture, floorings and trims.
- Working with all types of materials such as s/steel. Aluminium, composite, plywood and veneers, general plastics, vinyl and carpet.
- The use a variety of consumable materials, including polyester filler, sealants, panel wipe, glues, aerosol paints and primers.
You should have the following key skills;
• Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship.
• Experience working independently, and to be supportive within a wider team.
• Excellent time keeping.
A completive rate of pay will be awarded dependent on experience.
Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) with opportunities for overtime as required.
