Days - Monday - Friday

Up to £16.00 per hour plus bonus & overtime

As a Site Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various factory equipment, such as conveyors, fans, bearings, chains, and sprockets. This role requires someone with a strong mechanical background and experience in the maintenance of medium to heavy industrial environments. If you have a natural aptitude for general mechanical and fitter skills and enjoy working with your hands, then this position could be a perfect fit for you.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include conducting routine maintenance checks, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing repairs and replacements as needed, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning at optimal levels. You will also be required to assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment, as well as providing training and support to other team members.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering and maintenance. A relevant mechanical engineering qualification would be highly advantageous. However, if you have a proven track record of excellence in general mechanical maintenance, we would still love to hear from you.
