Summary
Freelance Sponsorship Sales Assistant
As a Freelance Sponsorship Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in identifying potential sponsors, building relationships, and helping to deliver successful partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for event management and brand collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching and identifying potential sponsors for various events and projects.
- Develop and maintain a database of prospective and current sponsors.
- Prepare and customise sponsorship proposals and presentations.
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and social media to engage potential sponsors.
- Support the sales team in meetings with sponsors, including preparing meeting materials and taking notes.
- Track and report on the progress of sponsorship outreach and sales efforts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of sponsor benefits and activations.
- Assist in negotiating sponsorship deals and contracts.
- Provide administrative support to the sponsorship sales team as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, preferably in sponsorship or event sales.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Knowledge of the event management industry is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the events or marketing industry.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
- Un-capped commission based pay.
- Performance-based incentives and bonuses.
