North Kesteven District Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Waste & Street Scene team based at Metheringham Depot; This post puts you at the heart of providing our high performing and custom focused waste collection service.

Job Requirements:
• Manual handling
• Working outdoors in all weather
• Work as part of a team
• Complete and apply the job specific training

Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake the collection of wheeled bins and other waste as instructed in accordance with the service Safe System of Work
• Act as reversing assistant as required
• Follow lawful and reasonable verbal or written instructions given by the Driver or Refuse Supervisor
• Ensure effective communication with customers and colleagues

You will be required to apply a high level of focus when carrying out this role, to support the delivery of the waste collection service at an operational level and show an appreciation of the contribution local government can make to the welfare of the people living, working, and visiting the district.
