Summary
A lovely family in Islington area seeks an After-school Nanny to help them care for their two school-aged children. The ideal nanny will be someone fun, energetic, and independent who will be engaged, fun, affectionate, proactive, tidy and very flexible. Someone with previous experience looking after similar aged children is essential for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday; during school term time from 3:15 pm to 7:30 pm, during school holidays from 8:£0 am to 6:30 pm, approximately 30 hours per week plus babysitting one or two nights a week
Duties include:
Picking up the children from school
Taking them to after-school clubs and activities
Helping with homework
Getting school bags ready for the next day
Keeping the play areas tidy and organised
Supervising play dates with school friends / liaising with other parents and nannies to arrange play dates
Planning fun and varied activities in the holidays – involving lots of outdoor play and a variety of activities in the home, as well as excursions in London (eg. museums, theatre, sightseeing)
Planning meals and cooking for the children (involving the children in the holidays)
They are looking for someone to hire in mid-February 2025 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
