Summary
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· To provide outstanding customer care, including information, guidance and
assistance to all museum and/or cafe visitors.
· Responsible for ensuring that all company and statutory policies and regulations
regarding Hygiene, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and HACCAP are complied
with at all times including policies regarding COSHH, fire, security, alarms, energy
conservation and recycling
· To work within the Café, including food and beverage preparation.
· The efficient operation of food orders, queue management, cash handling and
responding to customer requirements
· To work on a rota basis including regular weekend and bank holiday working.
· To ensure timesheets are filled in accurately and on time
· To ensure the museum environment is cared for – buildings, artefacts, facilities
and the sites are kept clean and tidy.
· To ensure that all activities are carried out safely.
