Summary
Salary: Scale C: £9733 to £9886 pro-rata per annum (£24,027 - £24,404 FTE)

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to join our team at Alburgh with Denton Church of England Primary Academy. To start as soon as possible once all checks have been completed.
Under the direction/instruction of teaching/senior staff you will support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Working Days: 8.30-3.30 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday or 8.30-12.00 Monday to Friday. (To be discussed at interview)
We are looking for somebody who:
- Has experience of working with children
- Has a consistent and kind approach when supporting children to do their best
- Uses positive behaviour strategies following our school’s behaviour policy
- Has a positive attitude, works well in a team, and is committed to the role
- Has the ability to use your own initiative to adapt tasks and activities to meet the needs of individual children
- Is prepared to work with children of all ages within the Primary setting
- Has knowledge of phonics and a willingness to supervise a small group
- Demonstrates and shares the schools ethos and values
