Summary


To work in a collaborative and supportive environment with members of the multidisciplinary team. To carry out tasks delegated from professionally qualified staff, requiring a wide range of technical ability, numeracy and literacy skills as well as a significant level of interpersonal skills and manual dexterity (disassembly, inspection, decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilisation of surgical instrumentation to predetermined standards).
To be flexible in the approach to the production areas and provide cover for any area specified.

Assist in training of new members of the team



We are looking to recruit motivated, reliable staff to work in our department, who enjoy working within a team.

Previous decontamination experience is not essential as we provide our own training scheme, based on current standards. The training is compulsory for all members of staff.

Please note that all successful candidates will be required to rotate through the following shifts: 0600-1400; 1200-2000; 1400-2200; 2200-0600 including weekends and Bank holidays.

This is a physically demanding post involves high level of manual handling with long periods of standing.

The trust also provides a nationwide state-of-the-art endoscopy training centre.
