The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery & Reception Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. The successful candidate will work closely with Early Years teaching staff to provide high-quality support to our youngest learners, ensuring they have the best start to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom activities and resources.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for children, ensuring individual needs are met.
- Encourage positive social interactions and help children develop key skills such as communication, numeracy, and problem-solving.
- Ensure a safe and stimulating environment where children feel secure and valued.
- Support children with personal care when necessary.
- Work in partnership with parents, carers, and external agencies to promote children's well-being and development.

Requirements:
- A passion for working with young children and helping them to thrive.
- Previous experience in an Early Years setting is desirable but not essential.
- A relevant childcare qualification (e.g. , NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent).
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to build positive relationships with young children.
