Summary
Title: Class 2 Refuse Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver Our client, a leading recycling and waste management organisation, based in Droitwich is currently seeking Class 2 Refuse Drivers to fill temporary to permanent positions. The successful candidates will possess current and valid Class 2 licences.
Responsibilities of the Class 2 Refuse Driver: Operate a Class 2 refuse vehicle, collecting bins. New pass drivers welcome Perform/complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports. Assisting with loading bins onto the truck when appropriate and safe. Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner. Follow all required safety policies and procedures. Requirements of the Class 2 Driver: Class 2 licence Valid CPC and Digicard Refuse experience preferred, not required. Must have a clean licence Verifiable references Hourly Rates and Times: £14.40 per hour 0400 until run complete Monday to Friday Benefits for working with The Best Connection: Temp to perm Online payslips Weekly pay Pension contribution Ongoing positions PPE provided 24/7 on call assistance
