Summary
Fixed term Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
St Richard’s CE Primary School
Governors are looking to appoint an excellent fixed term part-time key stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team of dedicated professionals as soon as possible working 15 hours per week Monday to Friday, 9am to 12 midday to support a hearing impaired child with their learning and language development. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in November 2023 and ‘Good’ in our last SIAMS inspection, we are a small, friendly church school looking for a well-organised, enthusiastic, dedicated teaching assistant. You will
• be able to plan creatively and effectively to meet the needs of pupils
• be able to independently prepare resources for 1:1 and small group interventions
• be highly motivated with high expectations of achievement and behaviour from pupils
• be able to work with a range of professionals to deliver recommended interventions to children
• be highly organised and proactive
• be committed to your own professional development
• be able to work as part of a hardworking, enthusiastic and committed team
• have a good sense of humour
• be someone who will make a significant contribution to the life of the school
