Join Our Team as a Stores Person in Stockport!
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Stores Person to join our dynamic team in Stockport. As a key member of our stores department, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 7am to 3pm
Friday, 7am to 2:30pm
Salary: £25584 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving orders
- Organising and maintaining inventory levels
- Managing stock rotation and conducting regular stock checks
- Processing orders
- Collaborating with other departments to fulfil internal requests
- Operating a forklift and handling materials safely
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment
- Proficiency in using inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence
