Summary
Your new company
Hays are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for a handy person / Driver for 3 months, initially with the possibility of extension. You will predominantly be based in their Portadown site.
Your new role
Perform a variety of maintenance and construction tasks across all Client properties. This typically involves installing security screens, repairing roofs (including tiles and chimneys), patching plaster and brickwork, working on concrete paths and installing metal handrails, conducting sewer repairs, flagging, and other general labouring duties.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Hands-on experience in basic maintenance in areas such as building, joinery, mechanical/electrical maintenance, or ground maintenance
- Knowledge of fundamental repair/maintenance issues
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Effective communication skills and ability to prioritise workloads
