**Position Type:** Temp-to-Perm (with opportunities for long-term career progression)
**About the Role**
Our client in Worcester is seeking skilled Wax Press, Brazing, and Assembly Operatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to grow within a supportive environment, with a clear path toward long-term progression.
**Shift Details**
* **Day Shift:** Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM 2:00 PM (£11.59 per hour)
* **Afternoon Shift:** Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM 10:00 PM (£11.59 per hour)
* **Rotating Shift:** Option to alternate between AM and PM shifts, with an additional shift allowance bonus of £1.49 per hour
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Quality Control:** Inspect finished products for defects to ensure they meet company standards.
* **Material Preparation and Assembly:** Clean, polish, and prepare materials for production.
* **Product Assembly:** Assemble products following detailed specifications and quality standards.
* **Tool Operation:** Use hand and power tools to complete assembly and finishing tasks safely and accurately.
* **Production Support:** Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
* **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate records of production activities and report any issues.
**Requirements**
* **Tool & Machinery Knowledge:** Experience with hand tools and machinery operation.
* **Production Experience:** Previous experience in a warehouse or production setting is preferred.
* **Attention to Detail:** Ability to interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and ensure high quality.
* **Physical Stamina:** Capable of performing repetitive tasks and lifting as needed.
* **Team Player:** Strong communication skills and a positive approach to teamwork.
* **Industry Background:** Experience in Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing is beneficial but not required, as full training will be provided.
