Summary
Maintenance Technician
Location: Droitwich Spa
Salary: £35,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours / Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm / Friday 8am to 1:30pm
Our client is a well established Fastener Manufacturer and Distributor, and are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team.
In this role your will be supporting the production department with all preventative and reactive maintenance, focussing on reducing machine downtime.

You will need the following to be successful for this position:
⦁ Full UK working rights (no sponsorship offered).
⦁ Mechanical Maintenance qualifications & Previous machinery maintenance experience.
⦁ A comprehensive knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems.
⦁ Fault detecting/repairs to mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic machinery and equipment experience.
⦁ Reading Engineering Drawings & Technical drawings.
Your day-to-day duties will include the following:
⦁ Carrying out routine PM programmes which have been accepted as PM Dept.s responsibility through liaison with Departmental Supervisors
⦁ Carrying out emergency repairs to plant and equipment as a priority
⦁ Some general machining, fitting and design
⦁ Maintaining an adequate P.M. stores and records of P.M. work carried out within the Companys CMMS
⦁ Communicate all problems and other work-related issues with supervisor
⦁ Assisting with project work aimed at the continuous improvement of production plant and equipment and operational methods to achieve increasing productivity and zero defects
⦁ Identifying cost savings, quality issues, production issues and Health and Safety concerns
