Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for a volunteer(s) to support groups running in Ferham Clinic in Rotherham.
The role involves meet and greet, supporting patients to access the groups and the clinics facilities during group times. Offering a social setting either side of the group to make people feel welcome and supported alongside staff. This is a face to face group. All out of pocket expenses will be provided.
The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:
· Ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patients attending the groups.
· Escort patient if they need to leave the group and allow access back into group.
· Offer teas and coffees in the break.
· Spending time with patients if they require time out (non-clinical).
• Reporting any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager.
