Summary
YOUR ROLE
Our high-profile customer contract, based in London NW10 has the need for a C1 Driver to join their operations team. Due to the nature of the customer on site there will be a 3-month vetting process for the successful candidate before your start date.
The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Thursday 04:30 - 13:30 and 04:30 - 13:00 on Fridays.
The salary for the role is £40,207.44 per annum. This is based on a £30,357.60 with a London Waiting Allowance of £4.51 applied per hour on top of this basic salary.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Ensure goods are delivered on time and to the correct location with accurate completion of associated system transactions
Ensure that daily vehicle checks are carried out and any defects are reported and remedied
All Tachograph laws and regulations are adhered to
Comply with all vehicle and site security requirements at all times
Oversee or check the safe loading of vehicle ensuring compliance with company and legislative safe working practices
Drives vehicle to destinations and tip load in accordance with customer requirements and special instructions
Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle and report any defects
Ensure compliance with security requirements in all areas of the operation
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a candidate who has had previous experience in a Warehouse Operative or X-ray Screening role, or those that are looking for a move into this field as full training is available. It is also essential that you hold a C1 license.
Due to the nature of the role. it is also essential that you are an excellent team player with a high attention to detail. You must also be comfortable working in a fast paced, high security environment.
