Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Home Manager to lead our team and manage the day-to-day operations of our dementia care home. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with prior experience in managing a care home. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for improving the lives of individuals living with dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the overall management and operations of the care home.
• Ensure the highest standards of care and safety for all residents.
• Lead, mentor, and support the care team to achieve excellence in care delivery.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents, staff, and families.
• Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies.
Requirements:
• Must be a registered nurse (valid NMC registration).
• Proven experience as a Home Manager in a care home setting.
• Strong understanding of dementia care practices and principles.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Must reside within a commutable distance to Stourport-on-Severn.
