Summary
Kilnbridge are a leading engineering and construction solutions business who undertake some of the most demanding and diverse construction projects in the UK.
We are currently hiring a HR Administrator to work within our HR/Recruitment team at our head office in Canning Town East London. The right candidate would be able to demonstrate skills such as proficiency in Microsoft Office, good organizational skills and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with resourcing team to recruit for both Blue and White collar roles.
• Update recruitment spreadsheet with up to date personal information. Adhering with data protection regulations.
• Attend weekly labour meetings typing up minutes and recording attendance.
• Gather ATR’s for the purpose of Advertising roles.
• Keep job descriptions in a secure location and making any required updates.
• Create labour orders with relevant information from agencies.
• Attend site visits on a regular basis.
• Organising interviews
• Attend interviews including apprentice interviews.
• Attend weekly HR Team meetings typing notes throughout.
• Support and co-ordinate the probationary review process.
• Ensuring new recruits have completed company induction tasks.
• To organise and participate in Disciplinary/Grievance Hearings as directed by the HR Manager.
• Support and co-ordinate leave of absence, including sick leave, holiday, family leave and all other ad hoc types of leave.
• Serve as a point of contact for HR questions, verification of employment and requests for information
• Support in sourcing data for inclusion in the HR Board Report.
Soft Skills: These are skills developed through experience in life and work.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet project targets, deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Excellent organisational, planning and prioritising skills.
Knowledge:
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
• Computer literate and capable of producing accurate and thorough reports
Experience:
• Relevant qualification or relevant experience (1-2 years desirable)
• A previous administration role in a construction business is desirable
