Job description
Would you like to join a fun, and happy nursery setting that adventures out on trips every week? Fed up working with the same resources within the same walls? We teach early years children the awe and wonder of the world through extended environments. When we learn about fish we visit the sealife centre, when we go to forest school we go to the real forest, when it’s warm we go to the beach, when we are thinking about winter we visit the snowdome. The world really is our oyster and as a practitioner you get to enjoy it all too.
We are looking for passionate Level 3’s with ideas for activities, and skilled in planning age suitable plans for children, people excited by childcare and the personal rewards it brings. Candidates need excellent skills of self motivation, be committed to working in harmony within a team, candidates must be punctual, reliable and conscientious for this role dealing with extremely vulnerable young children.
We are a small setting, rated Good by OFSTED in December 2023, we cater for 24 early years children over 2 floors, with a team of 10 staff from Level 6 qualified to unqualified. There is scope for unqualified staff to work towards childcare qualifications through our training provider.
Individuals must have a full uk driving licence, drive competently and have their own car.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Salary: £12.55 per hour
Monday to Friday, all year round. 7.15am-6.15pm (hours by negotiation with candidate, but there no term time only positions available)
