About the role
The Additional Learning Support Department is a large team working across five campuses to support 800+ mainstream learners with additional needs and Education, Health and Care Plans. We are seeking to recruit a confident and effective administrator who has extensive and demonstrable experience of working in a large Learning Support team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic ALS Administrator ready to join our large ALS team with a proactive, solution-focused and student-centred attitude. Furthermore, they will be passionate about supporting students with SEN so that our learners fulfil their full academic and employment potential whilst achieving the best possible outcomes for them.
The ALS Administrator will be a first point of contact in the ALS Department for staff, students, parents and external stakeholders and will be responsible for providing an outstanding administrative service to the ALS Head of Department and ALS Curriculum Managers. This includes providing administrative support to ensure annual reviews are completed within statutory time-frames and all funding claims are made and recorded efficiently and effectively and to strict deadlines. The successful candidate will work well under pressure and will be a proactive team player with the ability to use their own initiative when working independently.
