Summary
We are looking for someone a time-served Mechaical Fitter with previous engineering/mechanical experience to work within the existing team undertaking machine building, including assembling components and sub-assemblies.
Essential requirements of the role:
• Be time served with the relevant qualifications
• Have mechanical engineering experience
• Be able to read engineering drawings
• Be able to assemble machinery
• Have experience in the use of measuring tools
• Competent to use general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the role of mechanical fitter
• Interpret work instructions and perform work to time and quality with a high attention to detail
• Willing to work overtime when required
Hours of work:
Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30
Friday 08:00 – 15:30
