The Opportunity
This post represents an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Estates and Campus Services Directorate. The Directorate is responsible for all types of services across the University including residential and commercial activity.
The Events and Conferencing team require a 2 day per week job share. This role will provide a range of coordination, administration, sales and marketing support for the Keele University Events and Conferencing function. Duties include responding to and recording a range of incoming sales enquiries from the initial enquiry through to contract, including client show rounds. Preparing proposals, conducting sales research, updating web site information, conduct telesales calls to existing and prospective clients, placing and receipting orders and updating databases.
Candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills that will enable them to deal confidently with enquiries and administration tasks. Proven ability to utilise Microsoft Office packages and e-mail is required. Previous relevant administrative experience in a similar environment is required.
