Summary

Job Finance Business Partner

Location: Remote with travel
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £50,000

This role as primarily home based.

The travel is most likely to be London once a quarter for DFM meetings, Occasional travel for Business meetings, and occasional travel within the geographical area.

Key Purpose of the Role

To work in partnership with Communities and Business Development teams and provide experienced finance expertise to drive strategic impact, grow income and improve service delivery.

Essential Criteria

To thrive in this role, you must have:

  • Relevant professional accounting qualification / or QBE with at least five years post qualification experience. Graduate or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar business partnering role in a large and complex organisation
  • Experience in working in a multi - agency and disciplinary environment
  • Ability to work strategically.
  • High degree of analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge internally and externally.
  • Risk management
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to analyse and interpret financial data and to look for opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Great presentational skills with the ability to deliver quality information to Senior Leaders
  • Energy, drive, commitment and enthusiasm
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to achieve targets
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and own professional development
  • Entrepreneurial and creative.
  • Work well and thrive under pressure.
  • Reliable, honest, trustworthy and high degree of personal integrity.

  • Strong technical accounting skills, primarily UK GAAP/SORP

  • Capable to represent finance on any committee/initiative
