Summary
Public Protection are recruiting an SPO to co-lead the GM Probation Victims team.
This is a permanent role and the successful candidate will work alongside one other Victims SPO to ensure that high quality victim services are delivered across the region.
The victims team work with victims of violent and sexual offences, keeping them informed at key stages of a perpetrators sentence, supporting and signposting to support services, as well as ensuring that victim needs are represented within sentence and risk management plans.
It is a demanding and crucial area of probation work requiring excellent leadership and partnership skills to drive this work across Greater Manchester both with Probation PDUs and with multiple GM partners.
Office Base location can be flexible and will be agreed on appointment. Travel to multiple sites across GM is a requirement.
