Summary
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a transport planner within the waste management sector!
Main duties will include:
- Plan and manage the routes of vehicle fleets
- ensure efficient operations and adherence to daily schedules
- Ensure all vehicle defects are addressed in a timely manner
- Keep fleet maintenance up to date
- Be involved in improvement projects
- Liaising with recycling centres and transfer stations to ensure all waste levels are collected as planned.
Every applicant must hold the below before applying:
Experience in route planning and scheduling
Excellent geographical knowledge, especially in Nottinghamshire and the
surrounding counties
Experience of dealing with both drivers and customers.
Excellent customer service
Computer literate including Google Suite.
Ongoing
You will be usually working Monday to Friday role, where you will be working a rotational shift pattern.
You will be working either 05:30 - 14:00 and 09:30 - 18:00.
However, you will be required 1 in every 4 weekends working both days, 05:30 - 18:30.
However, you will be given 3 days off mid-week to compensate for working that weekend.
You will be paid at £14.00 per hour.
