Summary
Do you have a passion for delivering service improvements and want to work for one of the most iconic public transport networks outside London?
We are seeking an individual to join TfGM in the Metrolink Service Delivery Team, where we outline the service requirements of the Metrolink operator and hold them to account, to ensure customers receive the best service possible within the existing constraints.
Your role
In this role you will analyse both quantitative and qualitative datasets, draw conclusions, and present the findings to key internal and external stakeholders to drive evidence led decision making.
You will monitor contract compliance of the Metrolink operator, improve existing capacity utilisation models for the Metrolink network, and respond to queries from the public and the rest of the business.
You will support colleagues to ensure the Metrolink operator’s performance payments are accurate, and the existing network capacity is optimised to meet demand.
What you’ll bring
You are required to have experience working with complex datasets and in the use of Excel.
You need to be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and amend your communication style, method and content based on the audience.
You must also have extensive experience of building and maintaining productive joint working relationships.
It is desirable if you have experience working in the transport sector and if you to have knowledge in data processing languages such as SQL.
