An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Library Assistant in Charge at Tiree Library. To assist the Service and Support Manager to deliver a quality, customer focussed service to the public effectively and efficiently and managing the library information services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Library. Dealing with customer enquiries and requests, including issuing and discharge of stock items. Managing the receipt and processing of new stock. Maintain and monitor statistics. Delivering BookBug sessions and other library events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining links with local schools and other organisations. Ensuring all LiveArgyll health and safety policies, standards and procedures are followed.

This position is temporary, working 17.5hrs per week on a pre arranged Rota.
