What You Will Do:
• Lead the concept, specification, tender, and development of new projects / components for transmissions and axles, ensuring the highest standards of innovation and quality
• Utilize CAD systems to design and visualise projects, crafting the aesthetics, materials, and functionality with precision
• Conduct thorough failure analysis and manage concessions of existing products, driving continuous improvement
• Collaborate closely with the design and operations team, ensuring drawings and projects are executed flawlessly
• Spearhead the identification and implementation of new systems and processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost savings
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
What You Will Bring:
• A proven track record in engineering, with experience in leading projects from conception to completion
• Knowledge & experience in the design of rotating systems
• Proficiency in CAD Software with a keen eye for design and detail
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct failure analysis and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments
• A commitment to continuous improvement, with a flair for identifying and implementing efficiency-enhancing processes
