You will provide a high quality administrative service when assisting all levels of staff within the Care Unit, including a wide variety of interesting admin tasks to support your mandatory and chosen modules to fulfil the qualification.

With this in mind an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Surgical Division for a 15 month contract. To provide a comprehensive clerical, receptionist and clinical typist service within Surgical Support Services as you shall rotate around to gain a broader experience to help you in a future career, hopefully within the NHS. Alongside this you will be working towards NVQ level 3 in Business Admin via a college provider and would be better suited for a school / College leaver.

• You must have GCSE Grade C/4 or Functional Skills L2 Equivalent in both Maths & English
• You must have lived in the UK for at least the previous three years
• You must not have enough admin experience that it isn't new learning (typically 6 months to a year is fine)
• You must be 16 years of age or older
• You must not already be in full time education



Duties will include front of house, face to face receptionist service to all patients and visitors, maintaining patient notes and the Open ward / Medway system, filing, and producing documents to a high standard, ensuring that accuracy and confidentiality is maintained.

The post involves receiving and handling information which is confidential and therefore the post holder must maintain strict confidentiality at all times
