THE ROLE
As a Trainee Chemical Blender, you’ll be working alongside experienced operatives, learning how to blend and produce specialty products using industrial equipment. You’ll gain valuable skills in chemical handling, production processes, and quality control while being part of a supportive team.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Assisting with the blending of chemical batches under supervision.
Learning to operate industrial mixing and blending equipment.
Following strict safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Helping to monitor product quality during the blending process.
Keeping accurate production records and reports.
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
What You’ll Need:
Essentials:
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Maths & English preferred).
An interest in manufacturing and working in a hands-on environment.
Desirables:
Any experience in manufacturing, production, or warehousing is a bonus but not essential.
A Counterbalance FLT licence is desirable but training can be provided.
