Summary
The Funeral Operative plays a critical role in the funeral operations which includes but is not limited to, driving and assisting on funerals, preparation of coffins, caring for the deceased, collection of deceased from place of death, preparation of deceased to the client’s instructions, maintaining funeral fleet, delivery and collection of paperwork between branches and offices, general maintenance of working areas, participating on the 24 hour call out rota, branch cover as required. They will primarily be based in Musselburgh but will also include working in other branches.
