Summary


UHD requires an additional Haematology Senior Clinical fellow to fulfil the roles within our Cancer Care directorate. The post holder will be predominantly ward based and gain a wide range of experience and undertake on call.

The role will be required to work with other grades of staff, and help out with ward rounds, admitting patients and clinics.

Clerk and post take administration; writing in patients notes. Undertake patient reviews. Patient assessment, Drug prescription, Discharge administration. Promptly update patient systems. Attend clinics. Attend Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings. Triage to medical teams/acute physicians as appropriate. Trouble shoot patients on the ward. Participate in ward rounds Take part in the Haematology on-call shift system.
