The development team focuses on software solutions required to be created and maintained by the organisation:

As a senior you will be expected to write the code, review the code of other developers, manage successful releases into the production environments and ensure that the architectural frameworks are respected in the product development.

Occasional travel to Reading/London for team meetings.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

- Create product features from user stories

- Work closely with the team members ensure they adopt best practice when building large applications

- Assist the creation/maintenance of development standards.

- Work with testers to provide information for manual/automated tests

About you

The successful applicant will have:

- Able to help the other junior members of the team if needed

- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

- You will be expected to have systems knowledge to assist in supporting the development environments as required.

- Possess solid understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
