Hours: 4 Day Week - 39 hours, Monday to Thursday (7am to 5.15pm)

The role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Design Engineer to join our experienced design team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design and development of motorhomes and camper vans, ensuring precision in technical drawings and contributing to the delivery of high-quality products.

About you and the role
• Enthusiastic, flexible and passionate about all aspects of design.
• Knowledge of caravan/motorhome or similar furniture construction, materials & engineering practices in the industry would be ideal.
• Producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for motorhome components and assemblies.
• Collaborating with, production, and engineering teams to ensure designs meet technical and functional requirements.
• Maintaining an organised record of design documents and ensuring updates are made promptly.
• Assisting with problem-solving and design challenges as they arise during the production process.
• Experience or a good understanding of Solid Works PDM or similar drawing management systems.
• Demonstrating a proactive and interactive approach towards duties and colleagues, working to a high standard of work and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative and problem solving, with a desire to learn and develop.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
