Summary
The post requires two Ministers of Religion to fulfill a range of duties, including leading and delivering the Friday congregational prayer for worshippers, as well as overseeing the daily compulsory prayers, including the Morning Prayer. The role also involves preaching the sermon (Khutba) at designated times, organizing and teaching adult Quran classes, and managing children’s Arabic and related Islamic studies programs. Additionally, the Ministers will provide counseling to the youth in the community, offering moral education based on religious teachings. Optional duties include organizing projects that promote tolerance, diversity, and respect in a multicultural society, and creating community integration initiatives to present Islam as transparent and approachable to non-Islamic communities.
