Summary
The HCA role is an integral part of the team and primary responsibilities include leading ward services such as catering, cleaning, equipment and supplies. The work can include: Assisting the Therapy team with the physical rehabilitation of patients. talking to and reassuring patients. Infection control. keeping the ward clean and tidy. serving and clearing away meals. Personal care. receiving visitors. Providing and supporting the patients to participate in activities to stimulate their physical and mental state.
