Summary
Grounds Maintenance Operative - Exeter
Our client requires Grounds Maintenance Operatives to carry out tasks such as strimming, hard and soft landscaping. Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and much more
What we are looking for:
Experience within the grounds maintenance industry (preferred)
Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (e.g. strimmer’s, backpack blowers, push mowers etc.)
Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all-weather conditions
Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment
Enthusiasm, good communication skills
Good understanding of health and safety
Ideally have a full, clean driving license
Will understand and the importance of working as a team
Reliable and conscientious with a can-do attitude
A willingness to learn
Ability to work on one’s own initiative
CSCS card
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday but there will be some weekend overtime available, paid at premium rates.
Rate of Pay
£11.50 per hour
These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from Accrued Holiday Pay from day one
Pension contributions (after a qualifying period)
Weekly Pay
No Umbrella payments or fees
Only Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip
